Great interview! I loved the part about the items on your desk.

Wow, that was cool to hear your voice after chatting with you on-line for a couple of years. haha! And that Halloween story about your brother never gets less creepy. :) :)

There is no such thing as too much fun.

jaye, i'm still laughing about the desk question. :D

kelly, isn't it strange to finally hear someone's voice after so long? and finally meeting a person is such a strange thing too. last night i dreamed that david letterman walked in on me when i was peeing, then he mentioned it on air. i think that translates into my fear of publicly humiliating myself.

mysterlynch, i'm going to have to think about that for a while. hmmm. have i ever had too much fun...?

no.

After all this build-up over the years about your profound challenges interviewing and public speaking, you actually sound engaging, fun, and ridiculously normal?! WTF? That's not cool, my friend. I want some validation. No, I'm afraid you're going to have to do that over. Way, way, way too normal.

Here, I just got a court order: "And now this 29th day of October, 2007, it is hereby ordered that Anne Frasier cease and desist from claiming she is anything but stellar in interviews, talks, and oral communications generally."

That should cover it.

Don't make me hold you in contempt.

oh, jason. i'm sorry! i was afraid you would be disappointed in me! :D i have to admit the interview went much better than i could ever have imagined. i credit angie with that. we've never met, and i was actually more excited with the idea of finally talking to her than worrying much about what i would say. but i am aware that most writers who are interviewed come across as at least somewhat academic. i have zero in that area, but i'm okay with that.

Yeah, I'd be a book from that gal. Great interview! And it was also great to hear a snippet of my favourite version of Bela Lugosi's Dead. And if Godspeed You Black Emperor is the soundtrack for GARDEN OF DARKNESS, I'm totally in.

Well, I was in anyway, but still...
