Gorgeous place, Anne! Gots to love dem wood floors - though I haven't seen or thought of a steam radiator since I left Chicago. That's a weird flashback...
And most of the really good writers of scary shit are kinda wimpy. Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King spring to mind. You're in good company!

alex, thanks! yeah, the place has great colors. and you can't tell from the photos, but the ceilings...i don't know, but maybe 15 feet high?
patti, thanks! it is a cozy little place. i worried that 700 square feet would seem too small, but it really isn't bad.

jaye, this is the first place i've lived where my furniture doesn't look odd and out of place. i have my grandmother's antiques and yard sale crap. it finally seems to work. but i can't get too attached since i doubt i'll be here very long. less than a year i'm pretty sure, but you never know!

stephen, it is very madame sosostris, that's for sure! i've thought of that several times. so weird that it's all my same crap, but it never looked this way in the other place.
cinderelly, i've been looking at those gypsy wagons again! it really is a cozy place.
kaycie, i haven't had anything strange happen for a couple of days, so maybe all that stuff is over. but if it WAS a train, you'd think it would have happened again. not that it won't. guess i haven't been here that long. :D now everybody has me thinking about taking photos in the dark. :O i googled this place, and didn't find anything about it being haunted.

Gorgeous, Anne. Truly inspiring. I can understand the preference for this over Cassville. But there might not have been a poltergeist in Cassville. Wouldn't have mattered -- the railroad was close enough that the train would have shaken you out of bed!

anne, cassville would have been...interesting. i still want to check out that area!
jason, i'm proud to say i got that lamp at a yard sale. paid...i think it was a dollar, but could have been as little as 25 cents. then i found a really cool lampshade at goodwill that i need to cover with some kind of retro fabric to complete the look.
stacie, thanks! i have to admit that the walls are actually a blue-green. my digital camera isn't very accurate when it comes to color.

it's pretty small, but the living room has a futon i'll bet you and mary could squeeze into.
i have to lift the kitchen tabletop to uncover the bathtub. ;)
