huh?

In all the chaos of moving, I almost forgot I have a book coming out! And apparently it's on shelves a few days early.

I'm still settling into the new place. Absolutely love it, although I have to admit it's a bit spooky walking up to the front door in the dead of night.

I'll be signing copies of Garden of Darkness at my favorite bookstore --
where: Once Upon a Crime
when: Saturday, December 8, 1:00 - 3:00

Stop in and say hi if you're in the area! If you aren't in the area or can't make it, feel free to call Pat or Gary and order personalized, signed copies. They ship!

Too much catnip, eh?

And I ordered my copy a few days ago. It was shipped Saturday and I should receive it this week. :)

I'm off to check out your flickr photos...

Congratulations! On both things, actually.

I have my review of Garden of Darkness up today. I love the haunted feel of this one.

Hey, it just occurred to me. Does that church have a cemetery?

hi heather!
i haven't updated my flickr photos yet. i need to do that, but it could be a while!

jason, thank you so much. that's an amazing review!

(((jason)))

the cemetery for the church is down the road. can you believe i haven't been there yet???? i keep thinking i'll walk there one of these days and take a few pics.

but i swear there's a grave in my yard. not supposed to be, but there's a sunken area the size of a grave. i'll take a pic of that too.

You're very welcome. It was my pleasure to spread the word.

Definitely get down to that cemetery when you have a chance. And the sunked area in your yard is pretty tantalizing. Can't wait to see the pictures! :)

Hello, Anne! It's about time I emerge from the shadows. I feel like I already know you since you've been a blog friend of Jason for several years.

Congrats on the release of GOD! Maybe Jason will let me read his copy now-- it's been on his nightstand for weeks. ;)

Did Jason ever tell you about the old schoolhouse we looked at when shopping for our house? It would've made an interesting home. We got creeped out by the cold feeling in the upstairs bedroom (kids room). I just couldn't imagine using that room as a nursery....

I'd love to see more photos of your church/home. It's fun to see how interior spaces are redesigned for living.

I wish I could come to your favorite bookstore to get my copy signed!

kelly, thanks so much!

jeff, maybe i'll do another burlington signing sometime. hopefully summer, so we can eat outside at big muddy's!

aine! so nice to finally meet you!! i've seen some really nice schoolhouses that were made into houses. the original footprint of a small schoolhouse is just so perfect. i totally get the creepy room thing though. the bedroom here was absolutely freaking me out. then i came upon the construction diary for the recent remodel. the construction of the bedroom was a nightmare and they encountered massive problems. some are still visible, so i guess i was feeling the negative energy that had gone on there for so long. but i have to wonder what you were feeling in the schoolhouse!

i just put up some new pics on flickr. the appliances -- well, i'm probably going to sell them, which is why i took photos of them. :D

Congratulations on the release, Anne. I just added it to my Christmas wish list :-) Actually it's the only thing on my Christmas wish list at the moment, hehehe!

Brilliant. I loved it!

terri -- thanks! you need to work on that list. ;) :D

thank you, bill! and thanks for the pimpin'! the book is getting some mixed reviews, and i should probably tell people they need to read pale immortal first. those who haven't read book 1 have been lost and annoyed. :O
