No, I hadn't heard of him. I skimmed the site and it says he has photos in the books, but I'm not sure what else. The books definitely look fun!

jer, i agree. dave is a sweetheart. not sure he'd like to be called that, but we don't need to mention it to him just like i won't mention emom reading his book at B & N. although i doubt he'd mind that.
he also always has a lot of cool, pop culture stuff on his website/blog.
