so, whadya think?
inappropriate for protagonists in a thriller/horror novel? and i'm not talking sex with a dead body, or next to a dead body.
not on an autopsy table
not in a cooler
i see nothing wrong with it, but i've been led to believe that i may need professional help.

I'll bet this happens more often than we think. I've heard of people having sex in some pretty weird places.
But your protagonists? Hmmm. You may lose the sympathy factor. A very delicate scene, if you ask me.
i should clarify that the morgue is located in the basement of a house where both characters live. so this "event" actually takes place in basement, but not actually in the morgue itself. Personally, i never considered it as taking place in the morgue, but i guess some people might.
now that i think about it, the event in question takes place in a room where a main character has been hiding/staying.
Well, then, sounds like you're safe to me. I mean, where the hell else are they gonna do it?
What's the big deal if there's no dead body? In fact Nora Roberts did have a scene with the bad guy--woman to be exact--having sex in a morgue with the dead body present. LOL! I just remembered that.
kelly, that reminded me that i had something like that in play dead, but i think it was off the page. maybe i do have a problem! :D
jeff, twin beds! that will solve my problem. thanks!!
jeff---you forgot to mention that sex can only happen in the missionary position ;)
Anne--I know someone who runs a funeral home in the front of their home and I know for sure that they had sex on the sofa the family sits on during the viewing (course maybe this is just a southern thing)
Sounds fine to me. (Now I've got a smile on my face thinking of my younger days--no, not in a morgue...)
