Okay, I admit I am unfamiliar with this group, but searching, I found some sample songs from this album. The echoing reverberation used in their recordings give their instruments and her voice an ethereal and pleasantly haunting quality. I like it.
Three thumbs up! :)

for me, they came along during that period of time when i'd given up on music. i didn't hear of them until later -- maybe 8 years ago.

Remember them well, but was never a big fan. I was always more of a Thomas Dolby, Tears for Fears kind of guy.

i think they're kind of an acquired taste. when i first heard them, i thought WTF is this?

jeff: what i really love is that most of the vocals aren't real words. they just sound like words. when david cross was the chickenpotpie guy on just shoot me -- and he would shout out chickenpot chickenpot chickenpot pie! supposedly that was a line david cross thought he'd heard in a cocteau twins song. :D

oops. TMI
