Anne, it is AWESOME. Wow, this would so make me want to buy the book if I wasn't already a fan. lol
I think because the film was condensed, it made the words a little hard to read. And I think I'm a slow reader because in the beginning I had to rush to keep up, but only in the beginning.
Wow, really cool...major congrats on this!! It's like watching a movie trailer instead of for a book!
thanks, kelly!! i had a problem keeping up with the print at the beginning too. not sure that can be stretched out or not. i'll have to ask. it's hard to read and look at the images at the same time. the print was all caps and easier to read, but i had her change it because it seemed to be shouting. the dvd version will be full-screen, so that won't be a problem when viewed that way.
Rob, i'm glad you liked it! i think it remained fairly true to the orginal, but gives the viewer a better idea of the story. the added text seems intrusive to me, but also necessary.
Some great images in there Anne! And I could read the narrative fine. FOUR thumbs up! (Polydactylism is rampant in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania I'm afraid).
Anne Frasier, USA Today bestselling author of Hush, Sleep Tight, Play Dead, Pale Immortal, and Garden of Darkness, has been recognized with numerous awards including the RITA and Daphne
du Maurier for romantic suspense. Publishers Weekly says Frasier "has perfected the art of making a reader's skin crawl." The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls her a "master." She divides her time between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Dang, I can't see it until I get home! Looking forward to it, though. =D
Anne, I love this version.
It was excellent. I didn't have too much trouble reading, but then again, I tend to watch movies with the subtitles on.
The images were haunting and the music superb. It really set a great tone for the novel. Can't wait to read it!
P.S. You inspired me to post mine.

emeraldcite: thanks!! :)
I like the text much better than the narration. Fits the mood.
Anne- This "revised" version is great. Three thumbs up! :)
:D
