is there a blog doctor in the house?

i wanted something purty. is that a crime?

apparently these templates aren't mac compatible. but that doesn't seem to be the only problem. people are telling me the new page itself is either too small or too big. the too big requires scrolling back and forth in order to read the text. also the header image doesn't show up on some browsers or older computers.

do you see a black frame on the left, plus a thin black frame line on the right?

are there weird symbols in the text?
i have the sinking feeling it can't be put back the way it was because the glitches and problems are now embedded. Ugh. I really don’t want to have to start a new blog. maybe this can be corrected.

oh, yeah. even the new text is screwed up. what a mess. i wonder if this will be symbols. can't won't don't crapola.

Anne, this happened to me too. It's because she copied all of your posts and repasted them in. It's like copying from a PC to a mac, and all the commas become silly symbols. You just have to go into your archives, when you have the time!, and retype your hyphens and commas and republish so they look normal on screen.

Okay, also older browsers cannot view X operating pics like .bmp. If you still have contact with Cherry, you can ask her to make your header pic a .JPG, which all browsers can read. I'm sorry if I'm not making sense. =b. LOL! Right now I'm viewing your blog through an old mac OS, and can't see your top head bar. But if I view your new blog design through an X operating system your entire design will show up. Clear as mud?

Oh, and you don't have to start a new blog! It can be fixed! =D

kelly, i don't think that's the whole problem because the the new text is also doing it. i also think that since the design didn't fill the screen, a frame was just put around it -- which means i've lost an inch -- which is a lot when dealing with this format. i really just want it back the way it was, but not sure that can be done either.

oh. i think i cut and pasted that first post, which is why it's still screwed up. and i can't even find how to edit now. those symbols are gone! i'm such a doofus!! :D

Anne, don't give up. The text can be altered to what you want. Edits are still there in blogger. e-mail me, and I can help. I'm going to try and look at your design on the newer browser.

the template is too small for my screen, with filler on the left and right, but someone else said it's too big for his screen and he has to scroll back and forth to read it.

okay, i do like the basic design, and the change is growing on me. i'm hoping these problems can be resolved. if not, i'll have to go back to the original template.
