my computer has been acting up for a few months, and now i think it's taking a final gasp. if an apple genius can't install a new hard drive at the store on friday (can't believe i'm going to Mall of America on FRIDAY!!!!!), i may be MIA for a while.

update: my computer had to be sent in for repairs, so i don't know when it will be back. they are saying maybe wednesday, but i've heard about those promises before. i'm borrowing my son's computer for the day, but it won't accept my wireless password, so i'm sitting on the cold basement floor typing this -- so i can connect directly. don't think i'll be spending much time doing this!!
