today is the first day of the rest of your shitty life
i swiped that title from Hulles. later i'll elaborate on why it seems somewhat appropriate, but today i wanted to point people in the direction of chasing windmills, a daily web video series. If you want to see Common Good Books, Garrison Keillor's new St. Paul bookstore, or if you want to catch a glimpse of Hulles himself, check out MICROSOFTY. delightful all the way around.

That was really, really fun. Like I needed another addiction...
haha!! i knew you like that, angie!
Very cool. I want to go to that bookstore!
jaye, it is a really cool store with a huge selection of books. i like all the little passages and private areas.
it's pretty much a literary bookstore. SOMEBODY twisted some arms and made them order copies of Pale Immortal. pretty funny to see it on the shelf with all the literary stuff.
i actually laughed out loud when i spotted it.
I wanna go to that bookstore too. Just to moon around if nothing else.
bill, you should do a signing at once upon a crime in minneapolis. then i'll take you to common good books to do your mooning. we'll hope you don't get arrested.
bill, you can do a signing at common good books as well if you want instead of mooning, i imagine. anne, ditto. i told sue the mgr there that you thought it was funny that pale immortal had such company on the shelf. she didn't bat an eye and just said that as long as people buy it it will stay there and be reordered. go sue. and i'm just to lazy to capitalize today, long week.
and thank you once again, for me and for cristina and juan antonio. they put so much work into their project. xoxox.
hulles, well, maybe mooning plus a signing would be an idea.
i love chasing windmills. i know how much work went into my five-minute book video, so i'm in awe of the great stuff they create day after day.
