nostalgia and dark places of the heart

last night as we were walking the dog i asked bob dylan if he ever felt nostalgic for minnesota. more specifically for minneapolis, duluth, or hibbing. if so, how did he fight it? because don't we all feel the pull of a personal dark past that we know in our hearts has nothing to do with the now or the future? in the dream, bob mumbled something i didn't catch, but i'm sure it was good advice.

Sometimes I think most of the 'cloud' in the present is the result of having one's head stuck in the past.

But now I'm going to go back to bed thinking on that and see if John Lennon has anything to say.

sandra, i think so too.

eve, i'm too modest for nekkid ones. instead of dreams of being nekkid in public, i'm barefoot. *chortle*

yes, i hope bob returns. i'm sure he said something profound and i missed it.

I'm jealous. Weird Al Yankovich keeps butting into my dreams. He twists my words around and makes up songs on the accordian. He's so frigging annoying.

jer, have you seen bob too?

jason, the only thing worse would be carrot top. :D

Bob Dylan is a genius who speaks for so many of our generation. :)

jeff, he's certainly a fascinating person. in dream study, his being there probably meant the answers to my questions exist but i just can't see them. i was giving too much attention to the dog instead of focusing on bob. the dog was pulling me all over the place.
