got this from lee goldberg's blog. and speaking of lee -- he wrote a delightful book called MAN WITH THE IRON-ON BADGE.

hehe.
steve is my agent and i'd toyed with the idea of asking him to write something for my blog. :D he does seem to like to keep a low profile.

I can understand what Steve is saying in this post. I guess the positive side of blogging for writers and agents from a commercial standpoint is the ability to reach and interact with more people in a shorter amount of time. However, with that comes the risk of saying something that is either misunderstood or taken out of context which then has the potential of becoming career harming gossip. Kind of a two-edged sword.

i agree, jeff. and if you've been doing something a certain way and it works, why switch? i can understand both tactics.

but after reading the post, i'm going to work harder at keeping my mouth shut. :D
